Town 4th XI stretched their winning start to the season to 4 games with a hard fought 1-0 win over an experienced visiting Leicester side.
Much of the game was played out between the 23’s and on the occasions when they were called into action both keepers made excellent stops to keep the score at 0-0.
It was James Gregory scoring his first goal for the club part way through the second half that eventually gave the win to Town.
Town were made to work hard for their 3 points with much of the credit for the win going to defender & Man of the Match Alfie Doel, whose skill & composure under pressure was excellent.
Next up is a trip to Khalsa Leamington 5th XI.
