Saturday 2nd November 2019

With focus on the Cup this weekend, the Ladies 2nd XI took on Roundhill Ladies 1st XI at home.

Continuing to pressure Roundhill, Town kept possession in the attacking half with many more chances on goal. These were eventually converted by Sally Eastwood, Jo Hatley and Elle Brown before the end of the first half leaving the score at 4-0.

Town came out with the same intensity in the second half and continued to press the attack with Alex Penry converting the 5th goal. With Jo Hatley taken off due to injury, Town doubled their efforts working hard to add to the final score.

After continuing to win short corners, Emma Rose Chalmers finally rocketed the ball into the net. Sophie Rainbow soon followed with another goal.
