LTHC Men’s 4th XI 4 vs Tamworth Men’s 2nd XI 1

MRHA T3 – South East 1

Saturday 9th November 2019

After last weekend’s disappointing loss away to Khalsa Leamington, Loughborough Town 4th XI bounced back in fine style with an emphatic 4-1 win.

Town dominated the visitors throughout & in truth should have been out of sight before halftime. However with goals from Philip Cook & Shaylan Chauhan they had to settle for a 2-0 lead at the interval.

With more of the same being requested during the halftime talk, Town restarted as they had finished the first half.  On another day they would have added to their score but it was not to be. In fact the opposite happened when Tamworth grabbed a goal from a short corner to make it an uncomfortable 2-1.

However, Town’s two goal lead was quickly restored through Andy Hargreaves following some wonderful team play.

Then Luca Hargreaves capped off a great performance with a powerful strike to finish off the game.

Next up is a challenging trip to Atherstone who are joint top of the table with Town.
