Looking to continue to build on the previous two matches, Loughborough Town Badgers hosted local rivals Coalville Town Badgers on a cold and wet afternoon.
Another quick start from Town resulted in Ethan flicking the ball over the keeper for the first goal of the game. Town doubled their lead when Lex scored his first of the match to take Town into half-time ahead 2-0.
Town continued in the second half to play some good hockey, passing around the ball and maintaining a strong defense. When Coalville did gets chances in the D keeper Calum made some fine saves, along with the help of Wilf, Ziana, Seth and Charlie W.
Town added to the goals in the first half with Lex scoring two more goals through short-corners giving him a hat-trick for the game. The 5th and final goal was scored by Deyan.
A great win for Town and it was good to continue to see improved development within the team. Next week they travel to play Leicester Westleigh.
