LTHC Men’s 1st XI 0 at Loughborough Students 2nd XI 1

Loughborough Town 1st XI narrowly lost their local derby against Loughborough Students 2nd XI in a closely fought match.
In a game of few clear-cut chances, Town’s threaten going forward but were unable to create any moments of quality. Whilst the midfield and defence held firm for most of the match, the Students were able to get the game’s only and decisive goal, which ultimately proved to be the winner.
Despite the 1-0 loss Town are still well placed though did drop one place to 4th in the table. Town now have a two week break before their next League game which will be against Barton 1st XI.
