Development / Progression within the Club

First and foremost we want everyone to enjoy playing hockey at Loughborough Town whilst making new friends. There are however plenty of opportunities for children to develop through the club, for example:

  • Weekly training sessions run by Club Coaches.
  • Matches and Tournaments through the season (numbers of these vary depending on age).
  • Badgers Hockey, a stepping stone to senior hockey, played on full pitch usually with two adults (who are there to support the junior players).
  • Once your child is over 13 you can play in the ladies and men’s teams which is a great opportunity to learn and develop your game and skills.  Movement to senior level is based on ability and determined by the coaches.
