Whether you’re young or more mature hockey, is a fun sport with a good sociable atmosphere.  So if your new to hockey then don’t worry, why not contact us to find out about our junior / senior training sessions or look out for our junior taster / back to hockey  sessions (details on the site when available) to see if hockey is for you.

Equipment

You don’t need a lot of kit though, however some of the below is recommended to get you started:

  • Mouth guard (Essential for under 18’s, recommended for senior players)
  • Shin-pads (Essential for under 18’s, recommended for senior players)
  • Trainers / Astro-turf trainers (though not football shoes with cleats as these damage the pitch) 
  • Hockey Stick (we can provide this for juniors and on request for senior players)
  • Fun and learning attitude
